This half term, we are learning all about how our body works and how to keep it healthy. As part of this topic, we will be creating our own healthy snack. Today, we sampled some healthy ingredients that could be used - It’s safe to say not everybody was a fan!

During the Autumn term, year 6 enjoyed a visit to Crucial Crew at the Lifewise Centre in Hellaby. Throughout the day, children were split into groups and took part in various activities learning how to keep themselves safe in the community. Sessions were led by members from local services including the Fire Brigade, Ambulance Service and the Police Force. The children were lucky enough to take on different roles within a court room and watch role play to help them understand the dangers of hate and knife crime. A great time was had by all with lots of helpful information on how to remain safe and report crimes.
